On our website we use the so-called "Cookie Double Click", a service of Google Analytics. We may use this cookie to obtain information about your use of the website. This includes the abbreviated IP address. This data is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "anonymizeIp()", which ensures an anonymization of the IP address by abbreviation and excludes a direct personal reference. As a result, your IP address will be shortened by Google in advance within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The purpose of the cookie is the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other data from Google.
We use the web analysis and optimization service "Google Optimize", to increase the attractiveness, content and functionality of our website by making new functions and content available to a percentage of our users and statistically evaluating changes in usage. This enables us to optimise the use of our website. Google Optimize is a sub-service of Google Analytics (see section Google Analytics).
We use Google Optimize with activated IP anonymisation, so that your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other states which are party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on optimisation tests and related website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.
Google Conversion Tracking
Google Ads enables us to draw attention to our offer by means of advertising on external websites. This enables us to determine how successful individual advertising measures are. These advertising materials are delivered by Google via so-called "AdServers". We use so-called AdServer-Cookies for this purpose, through which certain parameters for measuring success, such as the display of the ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you reach our website via a Google ad, Google Ads will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually expire after 30 days. They are not intended to identify you personally. Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of Google Ads. To the best of our knowledge, Google receives the information that you have called up a corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you have a user account with Google and are registered, Google can assign the visit to your user account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, there is a possibility that Google will find out and save your IP address.

The cookie "Mailchimp" evaluates the use of our newsletter, in which for example the opening rate and bounce rate are determined. The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in this notice, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Furthermore MailChimp may use this data according to its own information to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimisation of sending and presentation of newsletters or for economic purposes to determine from which countries the recipients are from. The newsletter contains a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file which is retrieved by the server of MailChimp when the newsletter is opened. In the context of this retrieval, technical information such as browser and system information, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are collected. This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined by means of the IP address) or the access times. Statistical surveys also include determining whether newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our nor MailChimp's intention to observe individual users. The evaluations serve us much more to recognise the reading habits of our users and to adapt our contents to them or to send different contents according to the interests of our users. MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them themselves or pass them on to third parties.
